Over 25 laboratory spaces with up-to-date equipment

The InnovationLab has over 25 laboratory spaces with up-to-date equipment to perform life sciences and chemistry experiments and a chemical engineering hall to explore methods and pilot testing. Further, there are common preparation rooms that contain washing machines, autoclaves, -80˚C freezers, liquid nitrogen tanks etc. All laboratory spaces are fully equipped with all standard laboratory equipment you might expect, such as fume hoods, balances, pH meters, table-top centrifuges, pipettes, water baths, microscopes, heating mantles, mixing equipment etc. Also our chemical laboratories are equipped with standard equipment used in organic chemistry such as UV/VIS spectrophotometers, melting-point analysis, refractometers, titrators, ultrasonic baths etc.

Life Sciences

Our life sciences laboratories are equipped to perform cell culture, cell analysis (Flow cytometry, Fluorescence Microscopy), protein analysis (Western blotting, Imagers, Plate readers), Molecular biology (Cloning, qPCR gene expression), Microbiology (aerobic and anaerobic), C. elegans (incubators, (Fluorescent) microscopes).

Chemical engineering

Our chemical engineering hall is set up to demonstrate/explore common techniques in chemical engineering, to test simple set-ups and to perform pilot experiments in the light of sustainable processes. Due to its one-of-a-kind nature and unique characteristics, possible applications and the use of the chemical engineering hall and its features, can best be discussed in person.
